McLoud Family,
There has been a confirmed case of COVID at the Intermediate. Contact tracing is being done at this time and families will be notified soon. The incident was contained as students were not rotating classes. We will follow district protocol with quarantine and sanitation.

Due to the concern over the health and safety of both teams involved in the football scrimmage scheduled for 8/20/2020 versus Chandler, the scrimmage will not be played this week. Sorry for the inconvenience.

McLoud Family,
The high school administration worked diligently all evening and have sent out an all call to each family who had a student at the high school who was in a class with the student who tested positive today for COVID. If you DID NOT receive a call your student was not in a class with that student.
This does not mean your student was or was not directly exposed, however, they were in the same classroom. We want to do our very best to communicate with you while keeping everyone safe and healthy.
Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this process.

Distance Learning Parents,
This is a reminder of our in person orientation tomorrow evening at 6pm. Upon arrival we will do temperature checks and send you to your child’s grade level meeting area. We will have a presentation then Q& A. If you need to check out a device please come in at 5:30 or email Mrs. Murdock to schedule an appointment. Please make sure to bring your proof of internet for device checkout.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
This afternoon, we were notified that a student at McLoud High School has a confirmed case of COVID-19. The student will be required to complete the self-quarantine prior to returning to school. McLoud High School will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, August 20. We will thoroughly clean and sanitize all classrooms, bathrooms, and facilities during closure. All students will be served via Distance Learning. Regular classes will resume on Monday, August 24th.
McLoud Public Schools wants to do our part to keep open lines of communication with the parents and community as we move through this together. We will do our best to inform you of new cases as they are confirmed.
Please keep your child at home if they are experiencing COVID related symptoms such as but not limited to:
Running a Fever
Sore throat
Persistent cough
Loss of smell or taste
Shortness of breath
We are monitoring COVID cases throughout the district/community on a daily basis and will notify everyone immediately if we plan to move to district-wide Distance Learning.

Tomorrow, we will have a Q and A for parents at the JH Cafeteria at 4:15 for any distance learning families. Please limit guests of one adult to one student. Masks must be worn and temperatures will be taken.

Great first game for MJH Softball!

Parents/Guardians, if your student is taking part in our distance learning program and you would like to pick up breakfast and/or lunch please email the Child Nutrition Director, Wendy White- wwhite@mcloudschools.us to make arrangements.

McLoud High School football kicked off the season last night with the annual Red/White scrimmage! Lots of promise on the field last night! Can’t wait for the season to start!

Good evening high school parents and students! Just a quick note to say if you have not completed your online enrollment, please do so this weekend! This will help us tremendously on Monday if we have this completed. Thank you!

The secondary cafeteria will open each morning at 7:30 AM for breakfast. Teachers are not on duty until that time. Buses will drop off at the JH at that time as well. Please do not drop off students any earlier. After breakfast, students are to report straight to their first our classrooms. Athletics will report to the cafeteria on Monday for a meeting with coaches.
