Is this what you want your child's school to look like? Stained ceiling tiles, dated science labs, and worn-out equipment? These are just a few of the signs that our school's infrastructure desperately needs attention. Old plumbing, leaky roofs and struggling air conditioners only add to the discomfort our students and staff endure daily. The proposed Capital Improvement Plan addresses all of this failing infrastructure. If passed, we can create an environment where our students can flourish, teachers can thrive, and the entire community can take pride in our school. Stay tuned for more updates and mark your calendars for the upcoming bond proposal vote on September 12. Visit McLoudSchools.us for the full Capital Improvement Plan.

The Capital Improvement Plan proposes extending the High School to the south. This will add 12 brand new classrooms, each designed to foster an optimal learning environment, including two new technology rooms, science lab and art room. All intending to help mold our student's desire and growth within the highly competitive STEM world. As part of this expansion, we'll also be remodeling existing special needs classrooms, ensuring that they are equipped with the latest tools and resources to cater to the unique needs of our students, including their own restrooms, changing areas and laundry access. Extending the Junior High to the east will add a new entrance where visitors can enter and be screened before entering the rest of the school where students are located. Also, the pull up drive on the north side will provide more streamlined drop-off and pick-up for parents with students.
If you have ever drove down Seikel Blvd in the mornings or afternoons on a school day, you know how badly this inclusion in the Capital Improvement Plan is needed.
The proposal also includes updating drainage on the south side in the outdoor plaza.
