5th grade has had an incredible opportunity to go to Tinker Air Force Base to participate in a science progam that hyper focuses on hands on STEM activities that accompany our standards. They have amazing teachers and the kids have learned so much already including Newton’s laws, the engineering process, measuring liquids, the metric system, the periodic table, to even a little weather. It’s also always fun launching straw rockets and they’ll even get to 3-D print soon! We are so happy we get this opportunity.
