In honor of School Counseling Week we want to take time to say, “Thank You”, to our amazing counselors who serve students, teachers, and staff at McLoud Public Schools. Today we will be highlighting our Elementary and Early Childhood Counselors.
Mrs. Marsh has worked in education for 15 years. This is her 14th year at McLoud. Ms. Marsh serves our students and families in the 2nd and 3rd grades.
Ms. Gosh has worked in education for 10 years. This is her first year at McLoud. She is currently completing her Masters Degree in School Counseling at ECU. Ms. Gosh has recently received the RESPECT Grant Scholarship to help her in her counseling career.

Forty McLoud School employees competed in a January Fitness Challenge. The challenge was for total calories burned in a month. Calories were measured by a smart device. Winners were: #1 Andrew Winters, #2 Catherine Longest, #3 Ken Thompson, #4 Erin Denny, and #5 Meagan Wilbourn. Winners received a Stanley cup to stay hydrated on their fitness journey as well as gift cards to McLoud Nutrition. Keep moving Redskins!!

Ms. Dennis has worked in education for 28 years as well. This is her 11th year at McLoud Public Schools. At the High School, she primarily works with 9th and 10th grade students.

One of our own, Tim Boyer, is undergoing an emergency surgery Thursday morning. He is a born and raised Redskin. He serves our school and community with pride. To help support Tim and his family during this time, the district is conducting a fundraiser on the morning of his surgery. Prayers and donations are appreciated.
Mr. Ross will be running 13 miles to work on Thursday morning and will be streaming his run live. If you would like to sponsor his run per mile or give a flat donation please complete the attached form and drop it by Central Office by Thursday morning.
