Road conditions are beginning to worsen, in the best interest of student safety, we will be flexible in student checkout time this afternoon. If you have a student driver, you may contact the school office to have your student dismissed. Parents, you may also check out your student without attendance penalty. The National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) weekly rankings were
published this week recognizing Corie Barnes as the # 1 Individual Female Archer in the nation. That's right- IN THE NATION!! She not only holds this recognition nationally, but also in the state of Oklahoma. Congratulations Corie! We are super proud of you and your accomplishments!

Adult Program:
Gordon Cooper Technology Center is needing more applicants for the Adult Aviation program that will begin Feb. 20. The application process is simple: 1) Complete the 22-23 application online, and then 2) take an assessment (accuplacer). If they can test at least 10th grade level in reading and math, they'll be good to go. McLoud is hosting one of the toughest girls Wrestling tournaments in the State all day Friday and Saturday. Come out and support our girls!

We have experienced a power issue this morning that has impacted several of our campuses. OG&E is currently addressing the issues. Unfortunately, the Intermediate School is completely out of power and we are told it will take hours to repair. We will be dismissing school at 12:00 pm today at the Intermediate School ONLY. Buses will run, however, we may have to run some double routes due to driver availability. Car riders can be picked up starting at 12:00 pm. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Mrs. Eddings was able to watch former student, Cheyenne Banks in action today. Cheyenne starts for the Coffeyville Red Ravens.



On January 14th, the McLoud Special Olympics Athletes and Partners competed in OKC at Winter Games Bowling; with 7 teams qualifying for State Games. Congratulations to all our competitors!
And our very own senior, Tayler Rutzer kicked off the games with the Athlete Oath.
