McLoud Public Schools has three 2009 - 71 passenger diesel school buses for sale. The first is a Blue Bird with 90,000 miles, the second is also a Blue Bird with just over 120,000 miles and the third is a Thomas with just over 140,000 miles. Last Friday a team of Gordon Cooper Students went to Odessa, Texas. In Odessa they spent twenty four hours sending up weather balloons to monitor the atmosphere during the eclipse. GCTC students were a part of a grant that gives them an unbelievable opportunity to study science hands on in the field. They will go out again for the next eclipse in April when they will travel to the Broken Bow, Idabel area. McLoud's Eleanor Moiser and Harley Halford were among the team of ten students.
