McLoud Girls Basketball will have a parent meeting and booster club meeting on Thursday, 10/24/19, at 7:00 in the HS gym lobby.
McLoud JH boys basketball will be practicing after school on the following dates: 10/23, 10/24, 10/29, 10/30, 11/5, 11/7. They will also practice on 11/1 and 11/8 which are Friday’s. After school practices will be from 3:45 to 5:00. 11/1 practice will be from 1:00-2:15 and 11/8 will be from 12:00-1:15
Just a few of Mcloud Intermediates Bullying Prevention Week participants. Our students, teachers, and staff are working to learn more about each other. Students are working to celebrate their differences and what they have in common with their peers.

Junior High GRIT reward celebration has been moved to Wednesday due to weather forecast. Students recognized for outstanding 1st quarter attendance, grades and behavior will have a day at the park. Individual class GRIT awards will be given out when we return. Proud of all our outstanding students!

Today’s football schedule has changed. The 7th and 8th grade teams will be combined to play at Meeker. Game will start at 5:30. No freshman or JV games tonight.
Junior High students may bring permission notes again this week to check out chocolate fundraiser boxes. Prizes will begin this week and go through Nov. 12th. Prizes include a pie in a teacher’s face, a ride in the limo to lunch, and a money machine!! Prizes given for selling even one box. Let the fun begin! Proceeds go toward our Reward lunches for students of the month, reward celebrations for 9 week goals, and supplies in the classroom.
A big shout out to our cross country team and Coach Armstrong, they competed in the OSSAA regional meet on Saturday. We had one state qualifier with a time of 14:07, sophomore Izabella Garcia. Almost all of our athletes had personal best times. Good job guys and girls! #AENG
Congratulations to Elizabeth MAXWELL 13th out of 115th at the JH All-Star meet this morning.
Next week at the Intermediate. Our students are looking forward to learning more about their classmates, and standing up against bullying!

5th and 6th grade classes have had an amazing opportunity to explore the Mobile Science Museum. Thank you to the McLoud Library for helping foster our students love and curiosity for Science activities. The Mobile Science Museum will be near the library and open to the public from 3-6 on Wednesday, and available all day Thursday. It’s definitely worth checking out!
