Dear McLoud Community,
It is important to me that I let you all know that I have decided to resign as the Superintendent of McLoud Public Schools, effective June 30, 2025. I have accepted a position in Kansas that will allow me to be with my grandchildren.
I struggle to find the words to express my many emotions. I am forever grateful to the McLoud Board of Education for the opportunity to serve the students, staff, families, and community of McLoud. My time spent here has allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. I have developed many wonderful friendships and created innumerable memories.
This journey has not been without its challenges. I am thankful for a dedicated and passionate leadership team that has supported my vision. I am grateful for the teachers and support staff who have relentlessly given 100% to students. I am incredibly thankful for the ladies in my office who have supported me and made my daily life so much easier. Finally, I am grateful for the community members who have gone above and beyond for me and McLoud Public Schools.
Upon accepting my resignation, the McLoud Board of Education will work diligently to find a quality replacement. I will also do my best to make the transition as smooth as possible for the district and community.
Again, thank you Redskins for the support you have given me throughout my time at McLoud. I appreciate you all very much.
